Advanced training (AM, AR, ACCB) provides a deeper understanding of Level 2 exercises using the equipment you already know. Specialized training (Total Barre® and Injuries & Special Populations) provides the opportunity to master new skills and cater to a more diverse clientele. The Total Barre® training integrates elements of music and dance into your teaching, while the Injuries & Special Populations training provides you with the expertise to work with clients who have injuries or specific needs.
-
It depends on the course. The Total Barre® training has no prerequisites and is open to all fitness professionals. However, the Injuries & Special Populations (ISP) training requires that you complete at least one STOTT PILATES® basic training (IMP or IR), as it builds on your knowledge of the Pilates repertoire and adapts it to clients with specific needs.
-
The ISP (Injuries & Special Populations) training is mandatory to obtain the STOTT PILATES® full certification. The Total Barre® course is an optional add-on that expands your service offering, but is not a prerequisite for the certification. However, both programs provide opportunities to earn continuing education credits (CECs) needed to maintain your STOTT PILATES® certification.
