A quarter-century of well-being and connection

In 1999, Connexion Pilates opened its doors at Tennis 13, a small studio that quickly became a pillar of wellness for thousands of clients. Today, 25 years later, the adventure continues with the same passion for Pilates, a discipline born from the teachings of Joseph Pilates and modernized by Stott. At every step, Connexion Pilates has preserved the essence of this practice while adapting it to the unique needs of our clients, regardless of their limitations or ambitions.

Our Beginnings

The story of Connexion Pilates began humbly, with our first studio at Tennis 13 in 1999. Then, in 2008, we opened a more intimate space in Duvernay, with floor and chair sessions. The beginning was modest, but rich in learning, with even one anecdote where, at an open house, only one person showed up. Despite everything, we moved forward, supported by our families, our partners, and our children. We eventually moved to the Duvernay studio you know today, with reformers and also floor exercises.

In 2014, Rosemère became our third home, a purchase that marked a new turning point. The lease was signed while Lynn was going through customs to go on vacation! Living the entrepreneurial spirit! It is with this determination that we have continued to grow and continue to promote the practice of Pilates on the North Shore.

The Importance of our Community

What sets Connexion Pilates apart is the community we’ve built. Our clients aren’t just visitors; they’re part of our family. Through a personalized approach, we’ve followed their life journeys, their injuries, their athletic challenges, and their personal triumphs. We’re honored to have even begun teaching our clients’ children—a truly significant moment for us, reaching two generations at once.

Anecdotes and Heartfelt Stories

As young mothers and entrepreneurs, Lynn and Valérie have always been able to juggle the two roles they hold most dear. Today, Camille, Valérie’s eldest daughter, works alongside her at the Rosemère studio while continuing her studies. It’s a source of great pride and emotion to see this new generation get involved. Connexion Pilates also allowed Valérie and Lynn, two young women entrepreneurs, to meet and develop a friendship as strong as their business partnership. A chance to have each other and, above all, to be so complementary.

Growing with our clients

We have always sought to innovate to meet our clients’ needs, introducing services such as Endermologie and Huber 360. Our vision goes beyond training; we want to help our clients age well, overcome injuries and illnesses, by offering comprehensive support.

A family story

The story of Connexion Pilates is also that of a family adventure. We think of our partners, Paul and Diego, our children, and our loved ones who have supported us for 25 years. Their help, sometimes discreet, has been invaluable and has contributed to our success.
